Research Data and Data Availability Policy

IJMSTM supports transparency and reproducibility in research.

Data Availability Statement

All manuscripts must include a Data Availability Statement describing where the data, code, models, simulation files, or other materials supporting the findings can be accessed, or explaining why they cannot be shared (for example, due to privacy, legal, or commercial restrictions).

Recommended Practice

Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets and code in a recognized public repository and to cite them in the reference list with a persistent identifier such as a DOI. For engineering studies, authors should provide enough detail on experimental setups, parameters, software versions, and measurement conditions for the results to be reproduced.

Systematic Reviews and Bibliometric Studies

Authors of systematic literature reviews and bibliometric analyses should report the databases, search strings, search dates, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and export settings used, so that the study can be replicated.

Peer Review Access

Editors and reviewers may request access to underlying data during peer review. Failure to provide data on reasonable request may lead to rejection or retraction.
