About the Journal

Aims and Scope

International Journal of Maritime Science, Technology and Management (IJMSTM) is a proposed international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Smart Global Nusantara (SGN Publisher), Indonesia. The journal aims to advance rigorous research, critical evidence synthesis, and practical innovation across maritime science, marine engineering, ship operations, maritime transportation, logistics, management, and maritime vocational education.

IJMSTM provides an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, lecturers, practitioners, engineers, policymakers, and maritime professionals. It welcomes studies with a clear maritime contribution, transparent research methods, substantial analysis, and implications for maritime safety, operational efficiency, environmental responsibility, or sustainable development.

Aims

The journal aims to:

  • Promote original and reproducible research addressing maritime challenges and technological developments.
  • Facilitate international interdisciplinary collaboration in maritime science, engineering, transportation, and management.
  • Support safe, efficient, digital, and environmentally responsible ship and port operations.
  • Disseminate rigorous systematic reviews and critical bibliometric analyses that generate useful new insights.
  • Strengthen evidence-informed maritime education, professional training, and industry practice.
