Author Guidelines

IJMSTM publishes manuscripts in English in three categories: Original Research Articles, Systematic Literature Reviews, and Bibliometric Analysis Articles. All submissions must be made through this website and must fall within the journal's Aims and Scope.

Article Types and Recommended Length

Original Research Articles: 5,000-8,000 words. Systematic Literature Reviews: 6,000-10,000 words. Bibliometric Analysis Articles: 5,000-8,000 words. These ranges are editorial recommendations of the journal.

Manuscript Requirements

Manuscripts must include a title, structured abstract, keywords, introduction with a clear research gap and contribution, methods described in enough detail to allow replication, results, discussion, conclusion, and references. Original Research Articles must show a clear contribution relative to prior work. Systematic Literature Reviews should follow PRISMA 2020 where relevant and include critical appraisal and synthesis. Bibliometric Analysis Articles must explain the data source, search strategy, and analytical tools, and must provide scientific interpretation beyond visualization output.

Double-Anonymous Review

Authors must prepare a main manuscript file with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or identifying self-references. Author details are entered in the submission metadata and on a separate title page file.

Ethical Requirements

Authors must confirm originality, proper citation, appropriate authorship, disclosure of conflicts of interest and funding, and compliance with the journal's Publication Ethics, Plagiarism, Generative AI, and Data Availability policies.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting, confirm that the manuscript is within scope, anonymized, free of plagiarism, formatted according to these guidelines, and that all authors have approved the submission.
