Complaints and Appeals
IJMSTM welcomes feedback and takes complaints about its processes and decisions seriously.
Appeals Against Editorial Decisions
Authors who believe a decision on their manuscript was based on a factual error or a procedural failure may submit a written appeal to the editorial office through the Contact page, explaining the grounds in detail and providing supporting evidence. Appeals based only on disagreement with the reviewers' opinions are not normally considered. Appeals are assessed by the Editor-in-Chief or, where the Editor-in-Chief was involved in the original decision, by another editor who was not involved. The decision on an appeal is final.
Complaints About Editorial Processes or Conduct
Complaints about delays, the behavior of editors, reviewers, or staff, or possible ethical breaches should be sent to the editorial office with a clear description of the issue. The journal acknowledges complaints promptly and investigates them following COPE guidance. If a complaint cannot be resolved with the journal, it may be referred to Smart Global Nusantara (SGN Publisher).
Confidentiality
Complaints and appeals are treated confidentially, and the persons involved are given an opportunity to respond.
